My s/o and I get takeout here somewhat often, and in our opinion they are definitely one of the best food places in town! Everything we've gotten has been good, and staff is always very friendly and welcoming even when we just come to pick up food real quick. Fairly priced also!
I'm never disappointed when I eat here. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient.
The soup was disappointing š
Avocado salad was not worth the money, I'd definitely skip that and the soft shell crab appetizer.
The hibachi chicken and hibachi steak were delicious. That will make us come back.
This place needs shut down. 0/5 rating. When you walk in it is an extremely overwhelming smell of cat/pet urine. They had a power washer just sitting in the lobby you walk in, and the overstock of their food supply. The waitress said about 5 words our entire time there. I got a diet coke that tasted like plastic and permanent marker. The food was TERRIBLE. I ordered steak and chicken. The steak was clearly old and the chicken as well. Like it was cooked passed its expiration date and just covered in sause to mask it. There were nat flies everywhere. The waitress didn't even ask how our food was, we didn't eat it, asked if we wanted a box and brought our checks. It's extremely unsanitary inside and I honestly don't know how or if they've ever been checked by health inspection. I wouldn't have paid for the food. $51 for 2 meals that WERENT EVEN EATEN. I don't know how they have a 4.4 review. We went at 3:30 in the afternoon, and WILL NEVER return and will highly advise people to go elsewhere. The picture I posted is the window we sat by and the ungodly amount of dust on the window. Just to give a glimpse of how bad it is.
Very good food and portions. We got the salmon teriyaki bento box and the chicken teriyaki bento box. Both were great... Includes 4 pieces of sushi, 3 pot stickers and of course fried rice and veggies along with soup and salad. Yum yum sauce was on the table which was nice. The atmosphere is fine but the seating is pretty uncomfortable. I think the booths are just worn out and one bench in our booth was completely ripped apart. It doesn't look open because neither lighted sign works. They were doing a lot of take out so I suppose ppl are skipping the dine in experience but still enjoying the food. They brought us fried Oreos for free at the end of the meal which were surprisingly good! Crispy on the outside and creamy inside, sweet and salty. They also give you something for free if you pay cash...
I would give this place negative stars if I could. The smell of perfume chemicals when you walk in is overwhelming. Looking past that, the foodā¦. It tastes mediocre at best. However, this is a big however, Iāve spent the past several hours sick from eating there! I will never go back. I donāt even want to drive past this place. I would rather buy sushi from a grocery store. Absolutely awful!
Where do I start???
We sat in a booth and could feel every move the person behind us made.
The fried rice was deplorable and the chicken my wife had in her fried rice was down right disgusting.
The first round of sushi rolls we had were alright (similar to grocery store sushi) except for the size. A standard roll size is closer to a half dollar, at least at all the places I go to. These were maybe close to a quarter size. The second round of sushi my daughter had which was cucumber and avocado which should be a chilled rollā¦the rice was still warm.
When they asked if we were finished and saw we had a lot of fried rice left they tried to make us feel better by giving us deep fried Oreos. Nice gesture but they were ok but nothing better than what you would get at a country fair.
Save your money and go somewhere else.
Amazing food and atmosphere. It was a perfect stop on the way to Chicago. Highly recommend!
We tried the spicy crab jalapeno roll
Godzilla roll. And the yum yum roll. ā¤ļø
